Two-seater dune buggies get you further into the backcountry than a quad can reach comfortably, with a passenger seat if you'd rather ride than drive. Routes run from a two-hour loop to a full day further into the dunes, past small settlements along the way.
A valid driving licence is required for whoever takes the wheel — bring it with you, a photo isn't enough.

- Passengers can be children, usually from about 6 years — the host confirms.
- Expect dust: closed shoes, sunglasses and a scarf.
- Not recommended in pregnancy or with back problems.
